Prince Mahesh Babu is reportedly teaming up with Ashwini Dutt to venture into setting up a TV channel. While Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi own a share in MAA TV they are not involved in the day to day operations of the channel.
However, the new channel by Mahesh Babu is likely to be different. The media talk says that he is looking to buy out an existing channel. However, there is no word of confirmation either from Mahesh Babu or Ashwini Dutt.
Prince Mahesh Babu is going to star in a new film by MS Raju. The film has been titled 'Hare Rama Hare Krishana'. The film is likely to roll on the sets in September. Mahesh Babu is currently busy with two films of which 'Athidhi' is in final stages.

Hero Mahesh Babu has reportedly signed new a film to be directed by Bhaskar. Bhaskar shot to fame with his frst film 'Bommarillu'. The new film will be produced by SAkamur Mallikarjuna Rao he is a close relative of Mahesh Babu.
He film will be co-produced with Gurunatha Reddy he is making the film 'Bhookailas'.
Shooting of 'Athidi' directed by Y Surender Reddy and produced by G Rameshbabu on the banner of Sri Krishna Productions with Prince Maheshbabu in the lead is progressing well.
Bollywood girl Amritha Rao is playing heroine in this film.
Giving her reaction over her debut appearance on Telugu screen, Amritha Rao says, 'I have become popular with 'Fairever' advertisement. Later I did several other corporate ads. I am fortunate that my debut Hindi film was a big hit and got several offers from Bollywood. In the process, I got the offer to do a Telugu film. As there is a saying 'First is the best', my debut opportunity was a good film. I like the performance of Maheshbabu. He does a stylish acting. I saw his films, Athadu and Pokiri. He did a wonderful performance. I recently bought the 'Okkadu' DVD. Will watch it soon. In fact he is a very cooperative person. The next film with the combination of MS Raju and Maheshbabu, after their previous blockbuster Okkadu will be Hare Rama Hare Krishna. The film is all set to begin its shooting in August under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas.
The film was formally launched with puja activities at MS Raju's office recently. The combination of Trivikram Srinivas and Maheshbabu also had a success with Athadu.
Hence the industry and the audiences are eagerly looking towards this crazy combination and it is believed that the film will create new records, as MS Raju is known for bringing out several hit films, and his combination with Trivikram Srinivas and Maheshbabu would certainly create some wonders.
The delay in the launch of Hare Rama Hare Krishna is due to the busy schedules of Trivikram Srinivas who is currently on a project with Pawan Kalyan, and Maheshbabu is busy in Atithi shooting besides, MS Raju's present venture with Siddharth as hero Aata is getting ready for release.
Atithi' produced by G Rameshbabu on the banner of Sri Krishna Productions and directed by Y Surender Reddy with Maheshbabu and Amritha Rao as hero and heroine is progressing at a brisk pace. After the launch of the film, it had shot several scenes in Mumbai and Delhi and other areas besides some places in and around Hyderabad.
After the current schedule, the film unit is set to leave for Europe instead of its earlier plans to go to Australia. There is a strong rumour that the unit is leaving for Europe as the temperature started soaring in India and the Europe climate would be a little cool to can songs.
Manisharma's music is said to be a highlight in the movie. The audio of 'Atithi' is slated for release in July while the film is planned to be released on August 9 as a birthday gift from Maheshbabu.
Athidhi starring Mahesh Babu and Amrita Rao will be directed by Surender Reddy. G. Ramesh Babu produces it under their banner Krishna Pictures Private Limited. It is scheduled to release on August 9, 2007, which happens to be Mahesh Babu's birthday.
Hansika Motwani was originally considered for the film but lost to Amrita Rao.
Major part of the film will be shot in New Delhi.

Megastar Chiranjeevi who is the brand ambassador for Cola company Thums up, has declined the company’s offer for further extension. Apparently, due to the ‘pesticide’ controversy on the colas that raged throughout the nation.
With Chiranjeevi turning down the offer, It is learnt that Thums Up has signed up Prince Mahesh Babu to replace the Megastar as their brand ambassador.
It is evident that since Pokiri, Mahesh Babu’s popularity has skyrocketed and Thums Up wants to avail of his immense popularity to sell their product.
Pawan Kalyan had also endorsed for Pepsi sometime back, including other south stars like Surya, Madhavan, Trisha and Asin who have also worked as brand ambassadors for various products.
