Trisha returns as Chiru's heroine???

It looks as if Trisha is fast becoming an 'old habit' of director Prabhudeva.

For some mysterious reason, the team of 'Shankardada Zindabad' just hasn't been able to make its mind up about the film's heroine. Initially, everybody was bent on bringing Vidhya Balan in as the heroine. She just wouldn't accept the offer because she had old scores to settle with the south Indian film industry and she is very busy with her Bollywood offers.

Then, there was Asin. She was okay until the Hindi version of 'Ghajini' with Aamir Khan happened.

Prabhudeva and Trisha are very good friends. There were rumors that the actress was the one who had recommended him as the director of the Tamil version of 'Pokkiri'. She had already worked as heroine in both the films that Prabhudeva had directed in Telugu.

Now, it seems the director is eager to bring her in as the heroine of 'Shankardada Zindabad'. She was Chiranjeevi's heroine in his previous film 'Stalin' too, so he isn't going to be that pleased about working with her in two consecutive films.

What we don't understand is- why has it become so difficult to find a heroine for a Megastar film???

Trisha becomes bold!

No this one is not about Trisha's onscreen appearances. We don't think she lacked courage to do something offbeat and unusual on the screen. This one is about her offscreen life.

When she made her debut in films and for quite some time after that, Trisha always made it a point to go to the sets accompanied by her mom. It took her a while to get rid of that habit.

Her mother is very proud of the fact that her daughter has worked up courage to go to even outdoor shootings by herself. "There was a time when she was afraid even of insects. But it is nice to know that she is bold enough to stand on her own legs," her parents say.

Trisha seems to be more interested in Tamil films these days. She is starring in 'Bheema' with Vikram and also as 'Sathyam' with Vishaal.

"Ileana is a good friend of mine. She is an excellent actress. Competition is bound to be there. The trick lies in not taking it seriously and doing your job instead. I'm concentrating on doing my job properly. That's the only way you could succeed," she says.

Pimp names Trisha among others

Pimp Kannada Prasad's issue has geared up again after 2 weeks. This time the police have disclosed some top names in connection with the pimp, including some of their own top officers.According to the police, many of the leading actresses in Southern cinema have close links with Kannada Prasad. The police have also captured an important diary which contains some big names, from Prasad's Neelankarai house. In that diary, Prasad mentions as '3 sha' the number one heroine of Tamil and Telugu cinema as an 'important property' in his business. He also mentions the name of a senior most leader's grand son as her permanent customer. The diary reveals her close links with a senior police officer who was involved in Karunanidhi's arrest.

A top businessman of Ranganathan Street and an MLA from Chennai are also her regular customers. Some of the AIADMK leaders are also allegedly involved with her. Now the police have decided to conduct a complete interrogation with the actress and her beautiful mother. According to the police, they have already sent enquiry summons to the actress. Instead of co-operating in the enquiry, the actress has reportedly approached a very powerful man in the Government for her rescue. Sources say that she has promised the leader's son that if he helps her this time, she will give her call sheets without any conditions for his debut film production.

Jasmine… the Kasturiman of Tamil and Malayalam film world is the other heroine having very close links with Kannada Prasad. According to the Police, Prasad arranged this actress for one of the joint commissioner of police, 2 years ago by playing the pimp. His name starts with the name of the fort in Chennai. Both of them co-habited like husband and wife till Kannada Prasad was caught by the police.

Actress 'Neelampari' was also closely associated with Prasad till her marriage. He arranged her for an important leader to manage his rivals. That leader is a very powerful person in the present government also. The police have found another important fact. Few years ago, many dubious finance companies had swindled the public money and run away from Chennai. The cases against those companies are still going on in various courts in the state. The true reason behind all these frauds is sex. Anubhav group chairman presented a costly caravan to 'fish' actress in 1996. The cost of the caravan was Rs.85 lakhs at that time. The other one is the Ramesh Cars Managing Director, who gave nearly 300 sovereigns of golden ornaments to the same actress. The person behind all these transactions was Kannada Prasad!

The Chennai police have disclosed the names of all actresses and VIPs directly to the reporters, albeit only orally. According to the police, they have some reservations about releasing all these names in an official statement. That is why we are giving the names of actresses in code words only. But the police have strong evidences against all these persons, including the actresses and politicians who are involved in the Kannada Prasad issue. If any of them moves the court to file a defamation suit, the police will be jump into action.

Trisha is oozing with confidence

Trisha is confidence personified. Having established her supremacy in Tamil and Telugu film industry, Trisha is careful to sustain her hard-earned place in the industry.

Trisha speaks about Marriage and Romance

Trisha has achieved almost everything in the film industry- she is the No 1 actress in Tamil and Telugu. There are talks about offers from Bollywood but she is waiting for a brilliant story and a perfect launch vehicle. She is the nation-wide brand ambassador of a multinational softdrink company.

So, everybody is curious to know about her marriage plans and romance.

What has she got to say about it?

"Falling in love is all about completely understanding the man. I never had the opportunity until now. I also don't have the time these days. You'd feel like understanding a man only when you meet someone like that. But, I still haven't come across anyone who made me want to. I believe in customs and tradition. But I also believe that the person must gain financial independence before getting into marriage.

"I don't like the concept of gender-based discrimination. Men almost always get more freedom than women do. I'm looking for a man who'll give me the freedom that I need," she ended.

That sounds both easy and difficult!!!

Trisha talks philosophy

Trisha, who till last year ruled the box-office in the South, pairing up with top heroes, now finds herself in a gloomy situation now. Facing stiff competition from Ileana, Anushka in Tollywood and Asin, Shreya in Tamil, Trisha is struggling to get good offers.

Already with a row of consecutive debacles, film makers are shying away from her. Another reason being her remuneration; She reportedly charges a lot more than her counter-parts.

With very few offers at hand, Trisha is getting all philosophical now. ‘Its heroes realm now. Heroines have very little influence” she says. She further adds “Filmmakers do not value heroines if their films fail. If a movie is a success, they pour compliments and hurl brickbats if it flops”.

Trisha says she is going to be very selective and do only performance oriented roles from now onwards. Heroines’ life on screen is very less these days and Trisha sure does know about it. If only she can realize it soon and start seeing the bright side of it.
