All eyes on forthcoming films from Nandamuri clan

The Telugu film industry could not forget the late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, who remained the No. 1 hero in the past. Heroes like Balakrishna, NT Rama Rao and Kalyanram who were continuing his legacy in the film industry, gave memorable hit films in their career.

However, all of them were deprived of hits for the past some time.

This has become a cause of concern for their fans as well. But the fans of NTR clan are eagerly awaiting the forthcoming films from their favourite stars.

Directed by YVS Choudary on his home banner Bommarillu, Balakrishna's ensuing movie 'Okka Magaadu' is fast progressing in shooting.

Likewise, the Rajamouli-NTR combo which was proved a big hit with 'Simhadri' is coming up with another socio-fantasy flick 'Yamadonga'.

Finally, Nandamuri Kalyanram is pairing up with director Samudra who is producing a film on his own. This would be the remake of a successful Tamil film 'Sivakaasi'.

All these three projects are coming out as mega projects and all the eyes are eagerly looking at them.

TeluguFilm is also wishing that the three films would be the biggest hits.

'Yamadonga' in Talakona

The shooting of the socio-fantasy film 'Yamadonga' directed and produced by SS Rajamouli on the banner of Viswamitra Creations with NTR, Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas in the lead, is progressing well at Talakona.

Padma Shri, Dr M Mohanbabu, is playing the role of Yama Dharmaraju in the movie.

Each scene involving both NTR and Mohanbabu would enthral the audiences. Brahmanandam is playing the role of Chitragupta, while Rajiv Kanakala is doing the role of Devendra, to provide a hearty comedy.

MM Keeravani is providing melodious tunes to all the songs and the audio rights of the film were bagged by Vel Records.

Director-cum-producer Rajamouli says, 'This would be the hattrick success for the combination of myself and NTR. We are planning to release the film on July 9, the day when Simhadri was released and proved to be a blockbsuter. We are confident that this film would also be a big hit similarly.'

Yamadonga with 'Olammeee Tikka Reginda…' remix

Though NT Rama Rao passed away more than a decade ago and stopped acting for some more years prior to his death, several of his songs have continued to remain popular and inspire the directors of the present generation.

It may be recalled here that Pawan Kalyan had started the remix trend in Telugu by using Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule…. Soon enough Aaku Chaatu Pinde Tadis was remixed into Aaresukoboyi Paaresukunnanu… for Prabhas.

Recently, YVS Choudary had opted for a song 'Pattuko… Pattuko… Pattuko… Pattuko… Pattu Cheera…' for his film Okka Magaadu to be choreographed. The song featured Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari. Now it is the turn of Rajamouli to remix one song 'Olammee Thikka Regindaa…' for his latest film Yamadonga starring NTR, Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas.

Soundarya in NTR-Rajamouli's Yamadonga!

The fiction-meets-fun film - Yamadonga is turning out to be interesting by the day. First it was nice to see, NTR undergo a diet regime and use medical assistance to lose weight. He has also heat-ironed his hair to straighten the curls is growing it in length. All in all, the audience gets to see a new, fitter NTR in the film.

It was reported earlier that the late NTR would play a small role in the movie. He will be re-created through graphics. It’s learnt that other yesteryear's stars too would be present in the film. The latest buzz is that the former queen of Tollywood - Soundarya also would be a part of the film's cast. Recently, a house set worth 25 lakhs worth set was erected for the movie. A fight was recently picturized on the set. S.S Rajamouli would be directing and producing this movie.

NTR in Mythological film

JR NTR is following in the footsteps of his grandfather the late N T Rama Rao. He will soon act in a mythological film.

The film will be directed by Gunasheakr. Jr. NTR made his debut in films with a mythological film Bala Ramayanam made with an all child star cast.

Gunashekar was incidentally the director for this film. Now they are both coming together in a new mythological film once again. A big banner will produce the film for which work on the script is currently underway.

Yamadonga 50% Shoot Over

After Student No. 1 and Simhadri it is Yamadonga that is coming with a star-cast of NT Ramarao and SS Rajamouli. Moreover, the film is not only directed but is also being produced by Rajamouli himself under the banner of Viswamitra Creations. 50 percent of the film's shooting has been completed recently as per the schedule that has come to an end at Ramoji Film City.

Presently some scenes in the movie involving NTR, heroine Priyamani and some Yama Bhatas are being shot at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda of Hyderabad. It is a complete entertainer. The scenes involving Mohanbabu as Yamadharma Raju and NTR would evoke huge laughter and they would surely make the audiences enjoy the film, opine the film unit.

NTR's Yamadonga

The shooting of this socio-fantasy film is going on at a brisk pace. Noted artiste and dialogue king Dr Mohanbabu is playing the role of Yama Dharma Raju.

Presently a huge Yamalokam set was erected at Ramoji Film City in which the shooting of the film is progressing.

MM Keeravani is giving tunes for this movie and the film is slated for release on July 9.
